flying colors trapeze is a summer camp that provides a fun and educational experience for children between the ages of 7 and 17 and also adults
Flying Colors Trapeze offers a variety of circus arts modalities with the purpose of empowering individuals with a can do attitude.
All of our 5 day camps culminate in a circus arts performance for friends and family- Fridays 1-3:00. All kids have the opportunity to perform flying trapeze, aerial arts of their choice, and one other possible ground act.
No, we ask that kids are dropped off between 8:3-9:00am, and picked up by 3:15pm.
We recommend campers wear comfortable athletic clothing in which they can move, but nothing too baggy so as to hinder spotting. Long pants or leggings are suggested for the flying trapeze (no buttons or zippers on back pockets to help save our net) Long hair must be pulled back and jewelry removed. Campers should bring close-toed shoes for some activities. Bring also: swimsuit and towel, flip flops or crocs for walking to the lake, sunhat and sunscreen for extra protection. (We sunscreen be applied at home, and a rub on sunscreen be brought for extra application (spray sunscreens are very toxic and kids will be asked to walk far away from others while applying so as not to expose others lungs to the spray)
Yes, food is not provided. Please pack a lunch and a snack in take home containers. Bring also a refillable water bottle, we will proved fresh filtered and iced water for refills-we are trying to do our part to avoid plastics for the benefit of theirs and future generations.
